Hello everyone!! Thanks so much for the emails. Awesome things are happening everywhere. Life is just too great!
We just got out of our weekly monday morning meeting with President Eaton! I love him so much. It has been the greatest experience being in this assignment so far. We talk about the key-indicators and trends we are seeing, trainings we have done and trainings coming up and how to create cultures in our missions. We talk about missionaries and wards and how to help everyone reach their full potential. It is so incredible to be all-in. I love it. But I have also learned this, that no matter what are assignment is, we can all be equally involved in the Work of Salvation. All of us have different stewardships at different times. If we all just rely on the Lord to magnify our callings, God will work through us in POWERFUL ways!
Elder Bradford and I have been working super hard! We went on two exchanges this week.A full 24 hour exchange with the Zone Leaders in Puyallup South, Elders Grandstaff and Porter. That went really well. Then we went on a two-hour exchangeon Saturday with a companionship in Federal Way. We both went to their area and just split up and worked. It was so awesome! These are great missionaries that just needed some excitement in the area. And boy did we have it! Elder Walters and I talked to over 20 people in about an hour and 15 minutes in one neighborhood and got like 3 or 4 return appointments. And Elder Bradford and Elder Buckner saved a lady who had a full garbage can fall on her, and then she accepted to meet with the missionaries!! A lot of fun!
Abeny!! (Aw bun nee) She is so awesome. She is from Africa and has two little girls, Abdul and Amir. The senior sisters in Kent have been teaching her and she just moved into our ward! She came to Green River for the first time this sunday and our ward LOVES her! We are already planning her baptism on the 21st of June! Pray for her! "God sees what wards are praying and overcoming fear to share the gospel. He will bless those wards." -President Eaton
So we got a referral from some other missionaries named Joseph Wardrua, from Kenya. We tried to visit and call but we couldn't get anything set up. One night we had like fiftenn minutes left and no plans, but after discussing we decided to go to Joseph's neighborhood, not for that reason though. We tried a couple other people and no one was home. We had a little drive home and we had some decisions to make so we thought we should pull over and say a prayer before we started discussing some things. We pull onto this random street and see a black man standing there, and I knew it was Joseph. I told E. Bradford to roll down the window. We yelled, "Joseph!' he whips his head around, smiles and comes running over to us! He was so excited to see us! We had a great little chat and he is excited for us to teach him! The Spirit leads and guides!!
We have a bosssss week coming up!! Check this out.. Elder Bradford and I get to go on a day-long retreat with President and Sister Eaton. It will be an opportunity for us to get away and ponder on the work and our 6-month training plan and receive some guidance from the Lord on what we need to do in this mission. We are going on a hike on Mt Rainier!! That will betomorrow. We are so excited for that. Then we have a District Leader Training Meeting on Wednesday and Leadership Councilon Friday! And in the midst of it all, we have proselyting and exchanges! It is going to be too great :)

9 Yea, and are willing to mourn with those that mourn; yea, and comfort those that stand in need of comfort, and to stand aswitnesses of God at all times and in all things, and in all places that ye may be in, even until death, that ye may be redeemed of God, and be numbered with those of the first resurrection, that ye may have eternal life—
ALL times, ALL things, ALL places. A true disciples mindset and motives never change! I pray we can all continue on the path of conversion so that we can truly say "this is US."
