Email 61: Zone Meeting + 240 People + Isaac

Whats up! I have taken more time to email people individually so this email might not be as long. But everything is going super well! Redondo is seeing miracles!

President Eaton and Sister Eaton came for an hour of our Zone Meeting this week! President modeled our new way of teaching the first lesson and subsequent lessons and also talked about the changes we are making in how we spend our time in this mission. I don't know how to describe it other than using the scriptures. It is like in Jacob 5 when the master of the vineyard tells the servant to go and gather more SERVANTS. Part of our purpose is to help the members in their abilities to share the gospel. Elder Cannon and I have this burning vision of what can be accomplished here in Redondo. All of the Saints here are going to be humble and powerful inviters! And we are going to find more powerfully than ever before!

The BYU-Idaho Singers event was a SUCCESS! We had 290 available seats and there were probably 240 people or so there. There were about 45 non-members there as well. All invited by the members! President Eaton was so happy. The timing of the event was providential with the fact that we are making the changes we are and it just jumpstarted the Federal Way Stake. Thanks for all of your prayers!

Isaac is leaving for Ghana on Thursday. He is going to be a powerful Saint in Ghana! He blessed the Sacrament this week and it was the most perfect ever!!! Gosh the Spirit was so strong. I love that man with all of my heart. And pray for his family! It turns out that the reason that they weren't coming to church is because he didn't want the grandkids too because it was his only break from them haha. But they all want to come to church and learn as well!

We are going to go so hard this week it isn't even funny. President is coming to work with us tomorrow from 3-8 and we are just going to own it with the Spirit!

The Zone is doing awesome! We are adapting very well to change. I really do have a real love for the missionaries here in Federal Way. It is crazy how God blesses you with it when you seek it and work for it.

Ya wanna know what it crazy cool. How real God and the gospel is. It is REAL. He is our Father, and we talk to Him every day (hopefully). And He understands and He loves and He cares. And guess what, He really does talk back to us! And He can give us straight-up answers for our life. It happens all the time for me now and it is awesome. Gosh I just hope we all see how real it is.
